Day 01: Arrival / Delhi

At the airport, you will see that our representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later he will escort you to your hotel, previously reserved.

Day 02: Delhi

Morning we will process for New Delhi city tour.

NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi.

Afternoon proceed the tour from Old Delhi. A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would include visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.

Highlight of the Tour: The Highlight of the tour is the Rickshaw ride in Old Delhi. We will pass through the Chandni Chowk by the Rickshaw. The rickshaw pullers here take you on a ride through various routes. The Rickshaw ride give you a chance to glance at the colourful street of the place. Day 03: Delhi / Mandawa (260 Kms) (5 Hrs)

Morning drive to Mandawa.

Upon arrival check into Hotel. Mandawa is a very small villages. This village is famous for small havelis. It is small but busy market town, which was enclosed in the 18th century AD by the influential merchant families of the region.

Day 04: Mandawa / Bikaner (190 Kms) (3 Hrs)

Morning we will drive to Bikaner. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Bikaner city was founded by Rao Bika. Bikaner is also part of Desert area of Rajasthan.

Evening visit to Camel Breeding Farm - Bikaner-Camel Breeding Farm is one of the most preferred tours from Bikaner. The Camel Breeding Farm of Bikaner was founded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research on July 1984. The Camel Breeding Farm is one of the largest camel farms of Asia and is located at Jorbeer, Bikaner.

The Camel Breeding Farm of Bikaner, popularly known as Government Camel Breeding Farm, breeds the finest of camels in Bikaner. The Bikaner Camel Breeding Farm also conducts researches and experiments on the camels. The results obtained from the experiments are used to promote camel breeding. The Camel Breeding Farm in Bikaner employs the 'Raikas' or 'Rebars', local camel breeders, and aims towards making camel economically advantageous for the camel rearer of Bikaner.

Day 05: Bikaner

Morning we will explore the Bikaner with our guide. We will start the tour to visit the Junagarh Fort. The Fort was built by Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner. It is a fort of Bikaner royal family. Later we will visit the small haveli's of Bikaner.

Day 06: Bikaner / Jodhpur (300 Kms) (6 Hrs)

Morning drive to Jodhpur . En route visit the Deshnok to see the Temple of Karni Mata (Rat Temple ) at this temple rats are held sacred & roam freely within the temple complex. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Jodhpur is an historic city and the origin dates to the year 1459 AD when it was founded by Rao Jodha, the Rajput chieftan of the Rathores. The Rathore kingdom was also known as the Marwar and was the largest in Rajputana. Jodhpur is also known as the blue city, an apt name as most houses in the old city are shades of blue.

Day 07: Jodhpur

After the breakfast, we will start the tour of Jodhpur. We will visit the Mehrangarh Fort - Perched on a high hill, it takes five kilometres by a winding road to reach Mehrangarh - considered by many as the most impressive fort in the fort-studded Rajasthan. Originally built by Maharaja Jodha Rao, the fort was added to by successive rulers of Marwar. Of the seven massive gates to the fort, a few like Jayapol and Fatehpol were commemorative structures built to celebrate the Marwar rulers' victories over various enemies. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces. Entered through Surajpol, the Jodhpur Museum houses an excellent collection of artifacts of Rajasthan. Following the tour visit to Jaswant Thada. While in Jodhpur, remember to visit this white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.

An interesting walk around the colourful Sadar market and the Clock Tower is the best way of exploring the heart of the city. You could also sample the culinary delights of Jodhpur apart from visiting the famous antique shops of Jodhpur.

Rest of the day is at leisure and can be spent enjoying the hotel facilities or exploring the city on your own.

Day 08: Jodhpur / Castle Bera (180 Kms) (04 Hrs)

Morning drive to Castle Bera. Upon arrival check into hotel. Bera, a small hamlet situated in the Aravali range of Rajasthan and surrounded by lakes and dams.You can view Jawai Dam ( The largest man made dam of western Rajasthan) from the top of Castle Bera and Jawai river flow beside the village.

In the evening we will proceed for wildlife safari in the mystic country side of Bera. Later come back to hotel.

Day 09: Castle Bera

Early morning at 7 Am leave for wildlife safari. We will see the crocodile, migratory bird watching and morning tea at Jawai Dam.

Late afternoon, we will opt the village tour and visit a local temple in the natural surroundings.

Day 10: Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur (250 Kms) (05 Hrs)

Morning drive to Udaipur enroute visit to Ranakpur Temple. Ranakpur Temples are acclaimed world-wide for their intricate and superb architectural style. These temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jains. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are known for being the largest and most important temples of the Jain cult.

Highlight of the tour: The highlight of the Udaipur is boat ride at Lake Pichola. Evening enjoy boat cruise on Lake Pichola - the shimmering waters of the Lake combined with the City Palace in the background, serve as a magical way to end your day in Udaipur.

Day 11: Udaipur

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken for a guided sightseeing tour of Udaipur. We will start the tour to visit The City Palace - is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum with a large and varied collection of glass, porcelain figures and miniature paintings. Following the tour we will visit the Jagdish Temple. It is located only 150 mts from the city palace is the famous Jagdish Temple. This fine Indo-Aryan Temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 and enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the universe. A brass image of the Garuda is in a shrine in front of the temple.

Later visit the Saheliyon ki bari or the garden of the Maids of Honour, is in the north of the city. It is a small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants and a delightful lotus pool.

Evening rest of the day with leisure. The car & driver will be available on disposal basis.

Day 12: Udaipur / Pushkar (270 Kms) (5 Hrs)

Morning drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Pushkar is a holy town of Rajasthan. It is famous for Pushkar lake, various Ghats & temples spread around the lake. Pushkar has many temples, most of the temples are not very old because many temples were destroyed during Muslim conquest in the area. The most famous temple is Brahma Temple.

Day 13: Pushkar / Jaipur (150 Kms) (3 Hrs)

Morning we will visit the various temple of Pushkar with our guide.

Following the tour drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is one of the finest planned cities of India, located in the semi-desert lands of Rajasthan. The city which once had been the capital of the royalty now is the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajput and the Royal families. At present, Jaipur is a major business centre with all requisites of a metropolitan city.

Rest of the day with at leisure to enjoy the local bazaars of Jaipur. Jaipur is also known as the shopper's paradise. Jaipur is a city of vibrant colors and markets (bazaars) of Jaipur verify this fact. Jaipur's colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on you tour. Usually tourists include shopping and visiting the lively markets of Jaipur in their itinerary. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region. Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, jewelry, gems, pottery, carpets, textiles, metalwork and leatherwear.

Day 14: Jaipur

Proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.

AMBER FORT PALACE- Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Continue sight- seeing.

CITY PALACE- A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR- This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

HAWA MAHAL- The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 15: Jaipur / Ranthambore (170 Kms) (04 Hrs)

Morning drive to Ranthambore. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Ranthambore park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is one of the best places in the country to see the majestic predators in the wild. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The desire to preserve the game in these forests for sport was responsible for their conservation, and subsequent rescue by Project Tiger.

Ranthambore national park is famous for its Tigers and is favourite with photographers. Apart from that a large numbers of Sambhar, chital, Nilgai, Gazzelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards & large number of birds.

Day 16: Ranthambore

Enjoy two safaris today (one in the morning - pre breakfast and one in the afternoon post lunch) in the Ranthambore National Park.

Day 17: Ranthambore / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (260 Kms) (06 Hrs)

After the breakfast we will drive to Agra en route we will visit the Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri bears exceptional testimony to the Mughal civilization at the end of the 16th century. It offers a unique example of architectural ensembles of very high quality constructed between 1571 and 1585. Its form and layout strongly influenced the evolution of Indian town planning, notably at Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi).

Later continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into the Hotel.

After rest and relaxation, we will visit the Moonlight Garden also known as Mehtab Bagh. The places is situated on the opposite side of the Yamuna River. The Garden was built by the Emperor Babur. This is the best place to visit the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.

Day 18: Agra

Morning we will visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Taj Mahal is UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, Taj Mahal enthralls visitors with its shimmering beauty. Standing proudly on the banks of River Yamuna, with the winding river at back and lush green, landscaped gardens in front, the Taj Mahal leaves one speechless with its ethereal beauty. At sunrise, when it is bathed in the pinkish glow of the rising sun, the Taj Mahal holds your gaze. It is also a great time to take some unforgettable pictures! Later transfer to Hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will visit the Agra Fort. For built in red sandstone with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and the beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna.

Day 19: Agra - Jhansi (Bhopal Stb - 0810 / 1045 Hrs)
Jhansi - Orccha - Khajuraho (180 Kms) (04 Hrs)

Morning transfer to train station to board the train to Jhansi.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Jhansi train station and drive to Khajuraho enroot visit to Orccha. Following the tour continue drive to Khajuraho.

Sound & Light Show: - The Light and Sound show on the Western Group of temples complex the reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The 50-minute fascinating show is held in every evening and it runs in Hindi and in English. Amitabh Bachchan, biggest of Bollywood stars, narrates the story of the magnificent temples and his majestic voice attributes a special effect to the show.

Day 20: Khajuraho / Varanasi (AI 405 - 1505 / 1555 Hrs)

After the breakfast we will start the tour to visit Temples. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern.

The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India's unique gift of love to the world, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. The divine sculptures in these temples, are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. We will visit the following sites.

Kandariya Mahadeo: This is the largest, and most typical Khajuraho temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it soars 31 m high. The sanctum enshrines a lingam, while the main shrine is ornately carved and depicts various gods, goddesses, apsaras (heavenly maidens) in elaborate detail. Chaunsat Yogini: The oldest surviving temple in the group (900 A.D.), this is the sole granite temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Another Kali temple, which was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the Devi Jagdambe temple. Following thr tour explore the Chitragupta Temple: Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, this temple faces eastwards to the rising sun.

Vishwanath Temple: The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma. Lions guard the northern entrance to the structure, while elephants flank the southern flight of steps that lead upto it. A Nandi bull faces the shrine Following the tour transfer to airport to board the flight to Varanasi.

In this evening we will enjoy the sunset boat ride and evening aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. A group of priests daily in the evening at this ghat perform "Agni Pooja" (Worship to Fire) wherein a dedication is made to Lord Shiva, River Ganga (the Ganges), Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the whole universe. Special aartis are held on Tuesdays and on religious festivals.

Day 21: Varanasi

Morning we will start our day with sunrise boat ride at river Ganges. Later come back to the hotel for the breakfast. After the breakfast we will explore the Old Varanasi and take the real taste of Old city.

Afternoon we will start our tour to seeing the BHU University. Later we will visit the Bharat Mata Temple. Durga Temple and the several Ghats of Varanasi.

Later we will visit the Sarnath Temple. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10kms & East of Varanasi, is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. The celebrated Mantra, 'Buddham Sharanam Gachhami', owes its origin to Sarnath. On the day before his death Buddha included Sarnath along with Lumbini, Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar as the four places he thought to be sacred to his followers. It makes Sarnath one of the most venerated Buddhist places.

After lunch city tour of Pokhara is in store for you which includes Barahi Temple, Bindabasini Temple, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge, Tibetan Refugee Camp.

After breakfast Visit to Swoyambhunath Stupa. Swoyambhunath is believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago. Swoyambhunath (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) had developed into an important centre of Buddhism.

Our next destination is Patan Durbar square. (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) Patan Durbar Square complex is perhaps the most photographed of the three durbar squares. Located in the heart of Patan city, this was once the palace of the kings of Patan. The square is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.

At the last drive south until we reach Khokana. Khokana is a small Newari Village located just 6 kilometers from Patan. Khokana is a small village in which traditional craftsmanship still takes an important role. Villagers can often be seen spinning, winnowing and crushing mustard seeds. Especially the latter is what Khokana is most famous for, it's mustard oil. The village has a broad street leading into its centre. On the left side the three storey Shree Rudrayani temple can be seen.

After exploring Khokana we will walk to Bungmati. This is an approximately 15 minute's walk through on the road dividing the agricultural land. Bungmati, just like Khokana, is a Newari village where traditional life still can be seen. The village houses the typical Newari buildings and has an interesting main square where one can view the Ganesh Temple and the Machhindranath Temple.

Day 28: Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to famous Durbar Square of Kathmandu (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) dominated by Shiva temple where the "Living Goddess" overlooks the square from the south. The square itself is squeezed by the palace into two parts: at the southern end is the Kasthamandap, the ancient building that probably gave Kathmandu its name.

After Kathmandu Durbar square visit to Pashupatinath (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations for all the Hindus of the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the trinity and the guardian (patron) deity of Nepal. This is one of the oldest temples, situated on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. It is double - roofed golden temple with four triple silver doorways. Pashupatinath covers an area of 281 hectares, which is one of the biggest temple complexes in Nepal.

Next destination is Great Stupa of Boudhanath (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) in the Kathmandu valley, a vast dome-shaped monument representing the Mind of the Buddha, is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas and a major draw for Tibetan Buddhists from all over the planet. The history of the stupa from its origins in the fifth century to the present day is also presented here for the first time. Drive back to hotel.
